Loramesh.wales is a community of enthusiast building a long-range mesh radio network used for encrypted  short text messages and small amounts of sensor data over lora mesh radio network. MeshCore is standalone, encrypted , open-source and doesn't rely on the internet to work. 

MeshCore covers most regions of the UK and Ireland, and other countries around the world and is growing by the day. Lora project boards and some ready-made devices are the backbone of the network and can mesh together over large distances. We currently use MeshCore.io software and device firmware for our mesh network.
